Featuring “Helios, A Modern Renaissance” performing amidst an art exhibition in the stunning open air courtyard of the Monroe Street Abbey. The venue was once a large church which experienced a major fire in the 80’s and is now transformed into an epic event space. The concert will feature the 7 voice choir Helios focused on music pre 1600’s with the program “Voices Unveiled” celebrating women composers whose music has been left out of the history books. The stage will be surrounded by an art installation by Brittney Wegener of fabulous large fiber panels and artist Candace Diaz will exhibit a room of intimate watercolor paintings.
